Happy New Year 2015

It’s a brand new year and as you know, I had an early Christmas present. My tumors shrank in December. I have to say, everything is new in 2015. We have a new home, my wife has a new job, we have a new perspective on my cancer because of the good news, my son has a new school and we all have made some new friends. So, 2014 was rough but ended on a good note.

Happy New Year 2015 – My New Year Resolution

Yeah, yeah….I know….nobody keeps these but I intend to be different. Stop smirking. πŸ™‚ Β Here’s what I am resolving to do in my life. I resolve to lose weight and reinvigorate my cancer fight. For me, losing weight is part of my cancer fight. There are many reasons for this but the main reasons are because of the general health principles that we all already know but also because some fat cells part of the endocrine system and since I have neuroendocrine cancer I consider this essential. Also, if I am lucky enough to have a more aggressive type of treatment such as embolization or chemo embolization then I will need to lose weight to make sure that I am able to have the surgery and recover quickly.

The second part of my new year’s resolution is to reinvigorate my cancer fight. As you know, life has been crazy for my family. Now, things have calmed a bit…not completely…but enough for me to start again. I’m going to lose weight and try to take the best supplements that I can including IP6, B17, B15 and some others. In addition, I am going to restart my juicing and veggie based diet and if I can muster the energy get some exercise. I also have a few raised beds that I plan to grow my own organic veggies in. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes. πŸ™‚

So, that’s it. I hope the new year brings your family prosperity and health,
