Well, it’s official. I’m slacking! 😛 I’ve always run some sort of website and there is one rule of thumb you can always count on. The rule of thumb is that whenever you get a comment, request or complaint it only represents a fraction of how the rest of the people on your website or blog feel…good or bad. That’s because most people don’t comment, make requests or complaints. Any way, somebody asked me to fix a link to an item so…I am fixing up my stuff to get page. You can access it in the top menu. Also, I plan to take a little extra time and go through some of my blog posts and create some relevant links back to the page.
Why I am Fixing Up My Stuff To Get Page
I try to post about once a week because. to be honest, it keeps me working hard on researching things. True, it’s a self imposed schedule, but it keeps things moving for me. I need to post frequently so that I am forced to explore new things.
Also, as you know, I’m writing this blog for the benefit of others as well as for myself so, I feel it’s important to keep things current including the “stuff to get” page. I find it very difficult to find things that I think are quality when it comes to alternative approaches to fighting cancer. For example, did you hear about the big echinacia scandal at Walmart
? Yeah, you will NOT be happy after you read this. I know that I wasn’t but I had a feeling this was happening. I wrote a post Natural Cures, Here’s My Worry expressing this exact fear. Here’s a article about it from the Huffington Post.
Bottles of Walmart-brand echinacea, an herb said to ward off colds, were found to contain no echinacea at all. GNC-brand bottles of St. John’s wort, touted as a cure for depression, held rice, garlic and a tropical houseplant, but not a trace of the herb. Read More
So, should we abandon all hope? Stop eating fruits and veggies and start eating McFranken Fries? I don’t think so. 🙂 We shouldn’t overreact because some mega-corporation misrepresents a product but seek out the best supplements we can find and take those. Of course, fresh fruit and veggies don’t hurt either. This is why I decided to take a little time off my typical publishing schedule and update all of the links in my “stuff to get” page. I’m trying very hard to find only the best quality products. By keeping a page like this going I create a catalog of quality products for myself and, if you are so inclined, for your reference as well. I can’t say they’ll work for you but they are the best that I could find. For example, the B-17 supplement did not work for me but it was the best that I could find. If you find better please let me know. I should be done next week….yes, back on my self imposed publishing schedule. 🙂
In the interim, did you read this? In Vitro And En Vivo And What It Means To Your Cancer Fight It’s a post that I wrote about how, in my opinion, most of the articles I read about anticancer studies are misrepresented. You will find it enlightening if you haven’t read it.
See you next week!
