Chapter 6 in G. Edward Griffin’s book “World Without Cancer” is fairly short but, is a nice summary of the doctors who have all contributed to the use of B17 as a weapon in the fight against cancer. In Addition, the chapter summarizes how B17 works in the body in a way that is very easy to understand. So, let me pull it all together for you.
The Total Mechanism
The introduction to chapter 6 starts off with a quick summary.
As demonstrated in the previous chapter, cancer can be thought of as a kind of over-healing process in which the body produces trophoblast cells as part of its attempt to overcome specific damage to or again of normal tissue. These trophoblast cells are protected by an electrostatically charged protien coat. But in the presence of suffiecient quantitites of the pancreatic enzymes, the protective coating is digested away, exposing the trophoblast to the destructive force of the body’s white blood cells. thus, nature has assigned to the pancreas the vital job of preventing cancer by keeping trophoblasts cells under control.
I find this interesting because if you read my previous post – Have They Found A Cure For Cancer – this protein coating is exactly what they are dissolving with the anti-cd47 antibodies. It seems very similar. In my humble opinion, the only difference between this and the more modern approach is that the older method is a more natural approach and the newer approach more measured and observed. Now, I have tried B17 and it has not seemed to work for me but, I’m not sure why because I am convinced that it should. Maybe I have missed something.
How B17 Works
My understanding is that B17 works by tricking the cancer cells into absorbing the naturally occurring cyanide that is present in many plants and seeds. This B17 is often given along with pancreatic enzymes, zinc and B15 (which oxygenates the blood). B17 is a molecule that includes this naturally occurring cyanide. Here’s another quote from the book.
The B17 molecule contains two units of glucose (sugar) one of benzaldehyde, and one of cyanide, all tightly locked together within it. As everyone knows cyanide can be highly toxic and even fatal if taken in sufficient quantity. However, locked as it is in this natural state, it is chemically inert and has absolutely no effect on living tissue. By way of analogy, chloring gas also is knownt to be deadly. But when the chlorine is chemically bound together with sodium forming sodium chloride, it is a relatively harmless compound known as common table salt.
Mr. Griffin continues.
There is only one substance that can unlock the B17 molecule and release the cyanide. That substance is an enzyme called beta-glucosidase, whic we shall call the “unlocking enzyme.” When B17 comes in contact with this enzyme in the presence of water, not only is the cyanide released, but also the benzaldehyde which is highly toxic by itself. In fact these two substances working together are at least a hundred times more poisonous than either of them separately; a phenomenon known in biochemistry as synergism.
Fortunately, the unlocking enzyme is not found to any dangerous degree anywhere in the body except at the cancer cell, where it always is present in great quantity, sometimes at levels in excess of one-hundred times that of surrounding normal cells. The result is that vitamin B17 is unlocked at the cancer cell, releases its poisons to the cancer cell, and only to the cancer cell.
So, as I understand it, the cancer cell is tricked into absorbing the glucose (sugar) and gets poisoned by the cyanide bound to it. Sounds perfect but it’s not working for me. 🙁 I will look into this more. Dr. Griffin goes into this process more on page 90 of the book.
Everyone Has Cancer Cells
I have seen a million YouTube videos saying this exact thing except they use the word “cancer” while Dr. Griffin uses the word “trophoblast”. He explains, on page 92, that every person has these cells but that they are kept in check by a metabolic barrier consisting of the pancreatic enzye chyotryspin and the nitriloside food factor in B17.
This is a great book even if you decide this isn’t for you it is filled with medical information on the process and the doctors who support this method of treatment. Chapter 6 is a great summary of these doctors and the process. It has lots more so I encourage you to take a look.
