Round 2 of My New Chemo Regimen Has Been Pretty Rough

Well, this round of chemo was hard. In fact, at one point, I was ready to go to the hospital. I experienced a lot of the side effects they warn you about. Burning hands and feet, super sensitive hands and feet. Nausea, bloating and I thought I had a blockage in my intestines. I was in enough pain that I almost headed to the E.R. Thank goodness that the doctors prescribed meds to help out in just that case and thank goodness (again) that they worked. My lungs were burning and I was having asthma attacks. Strangest of all, my teeth felt like they were made of chalk. Like they were ready to crumble. Of course, I was fatigued! Walking to the kitchen was work. So, it’s been a rough 2 weeks. It seems to have passed now and my rest period starts Friday. I hope Round 3 is better.

Maybe say a little prayer for me.  🙂

  1. I’m sorry you are having such a tough time. I guess I was getting complacent. Hopefully the next go around won’t be as bad.
